🌚🌞What a "totality" cool experience!
Across the building our Dolphins got to partake in a plethora of learning activities focused on today's eclipse!
Our administrative team started the day by reading Tony DiTerlizzi's book, Jimmy Zangwow's Out-of-This-World Moon-Pie Adventure, to each grade level, and then students got to buddy up with other grade levels to watch the eclipse and share some sweet Moon Pie treats.🌞🌚
If you came out to watch the eclipse with us, drop your photos in the comments!🐬

This week is National Assistant (to the) Principal's Week, and we would be remiss if we didn’t take a moment to shout-out the one and only - Mr. Goodrich!
Whether it’s being a steadfast and supportive cheerleader for our faculty and staff, commanding the stage at Dolphin Splash, responding to any and all student needs with a calming comfort, taking a bucket of slime or ice for a good cause, or literally any number of the other things you do each and every day to make this school feel more like home, we appreciate everything you add to our Dolphin family!
To channel our inner Mr. Goodrich and to quote you, “We love you, and we’re so glad you’re here”!
Give Mr. Goodrich some love in the comments, and enjoy this compilation of photos that perfectly encapsulate his energy!

✨It's the Marvelous Milli's birthday, so in celebration she, of course, wrote a little Moments with Milli!✨
Give it a read, and send some birthday wishes her way!🥳

It's a great day when BOTH Mom and Dad are in the building! 👨👩👧👧
Shoutout to the Gambill Family who have generously given of their time and talents at Angie Debo for YEARS! Mrs. Gambill is a regular sub in our building, and Mr. Gambill volunteers as a Watch DOG multiple times a year! Last Friday we were lucky enough to have them both in the building AT THE SAME TIME! How amazing is that?!
💜Thank you so much, Mr. and Mrs. Gambill, for being there for not only your dolphins, but for all the dolphins in our building; you make our school a better place!💜
If you want to get on the A.D. substitute list, volunteer as a Watch DOG, or help out with our PTO, use the links below; we'd love to have you in the building:

Thank you, Dolphin families, for helping us reach our $1,000.00 goal to support ✨Team Sparkle✨! After a chilly morning taking the Polar Plunge, Mr. Goodrich is waiting on the warmer weather to help thaw him out!
✅With one challenge down, we thought we might as well start another one up to keep the last nine weeks interesting!
❗Mrs. Williams is challenging the student body to break some attendance records! This challenge will recognize grade levels first and will eventually progress to individual classes! Prizes will include extra reccesses, glow parties, and more! Next Friday Mrs. Williams will recognize the winning grade-level at Dolphin Splash, so who will it be?❗
We're better when we're all together, so let's see who can get the best attendance next week!

🧊Brrrrr, it's cold in here!🧊
We're halfway to our goal with just a few more days left! Can we share this post and get to $1,000.00 by Friday to force Mr. Goodrich to take the Polar Plunge? 🥶

🐝🐬💜The school is aBUZZ with excitement over the success of our very own Amna S.!
In case you haven't heard yet, Amna is the first fourth grader to win our school spelling bee, which advanced her to the district-level bee. Her recent performance earned her a spot in the regional-level competition!
Way to make school history, Amna! We're all rooting for you!💜 🐬🐝

🐬💜Legendary basketball coach, John Wooden once said that "Flexibility is the key to stability," and these Dolphins illustrate just how important flexibility is to overall student development!
We love recognizing and celebrating all the great qualities we get to observe in students around our building, and we can't wait to see the ripple effect they inspire in the world around them!
Way to go, Dolphins! 💜🐬

Dolphin families, are you ready for our THIRD ANNUAL Bingo Night?
Make sure your are free this Thursday evening for some free family fun!
We can't wait to see you there! 🐬💜

🐬📚Can you guess this month's library dress-up theme?
With Read Across America Week right around the corner, our Dolphins showed up dressed as their favorite book characters today, and wow, we have some creative kids!
If you need some fresh, new ideas for next year, make sure you stop into the library to ask Ms. Ashcraft and Mrs. Merrell about their favorite Sequoyah Books and Rebud Books this year! 📚🐬

✨If you haven't heard already, EPS has a new team in town - The A.D. Sparkle!✨
After the incredible success of our second annual Belonging Week, Angie Debo decided to follow the example of our vertical leaders at Santa Fe by putting together a unified cheer team to compete in this year's Special Olympics! 📣
Today the A.D. Sparkle is off to compete in the FIRST EVER unified cheer event at the Special Olympics, so let's wish them well as they pave the way for inclusion and belonging on a state-wide stage!
We are so proud of our athletes and our unified partners who took this opportunity to do something truly incredible, but we can't forget the dedicated work of Mrs. Susan Kidwell and Mrs. Tonya Alexander who have kept us all moving forward in our inclusion and belonging efforts!
Good luck, and do well, Sparkle! We're rooting for you! ✨📣💜🐬

🌹Roses are red.
Violets are blue.
Happy Valentine's Day,
From these Dolphins to you! 🌹
❤️Happy Valentine's Day from Angie Debo! ❤️

Polling places close at 7:00 PM; make sure to drop those polling place pics in the comments! 🗳️

🗳️Hey, Dolphin families, do you have your voting plan ready for tomorrow?🗳️
As a reminder, all residents that live within EPS boundaries are able (and highly encouraged) to vote on the 2024 Bond Issue!
While there are a lot of things on this upcoming bond, a few major things directly impact our students! If passed, this bond issue will provide:
🐬new playground equipment here at A.D.!
🐬new flooring here at A.D.!
🐬a new and responsive app for our bus riding students!
🦅roofing and HVAC improvements at Summit Middle School (It's right around the corner for our kiddos!)!

Help EPS move forward by voting "Yes," and drop those "I Voted" sticker pics in the comments!

❤️🐬The poet John Holmes once said, "There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up," and how appropriate that sentiment is as we celebrate our Compassion Awards today!
These future leaders have made such a huge impact on our school community, and we know that their actions will only continue to extend to other areas of their lives helping to build a better future and world for everyone!
Way to go, Dolphins! Your efforts are a reminder to us all to do better and be better every day! 🐬❤️

Last night, at the Board of Education meeting, EPS recognized Support Employees of the Year across the district!
Let's congratulate and thank our very own Ms. Jessica Duncan one more time because to know her, to work with her, and to be around her is to absolutely love her!
Ms. Duncan, you are the best, and we love you! 🐬💜
