About Our School
Families
I am so honored to be the Principal at Angie Debo. This is my 8th year being a Dolphin. The first 5 years were spent as the Assistant Principal. In those five years I learned from the best, created friendships with the staff, and best yet, I was able to observe our students growing and thriving. Angie Debo has a huge piece of my heart, and I consider it my home away from home.
This is my 13th year in Edmond Public Schools. I spent the first 4 years teaching 4th grade at Cross Timbers. Then I had the opportunity to be a part of opening Heritage Elementary as one of the school's original 4th grade teachers. Prior to Edmond, I spent my first 7 years teaching in Moore at Central Elementary teaching grades 4 and 5.
I have been an Oklahoman my entire life. I am from Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. Fun fact - Angie Debo has a higher population than my hometown. Then I went to Norman and graduated from the University of Oklahoma, Boomer Sooner! I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and a Masters in Educational Leadership. At OU I met my husband of 17 years Scott. When we graduated we knew Edmond was the only place we wanted to raise our family. We have 3 amazing children. When I'm not at A.D., you can usually find me and at least one kiddo running around to dance, tee-ball, football, basketball, or volleyball.
