My name is Elizabeth White. This is my fifth year teaching first grade and I absolutely love it! In 2017, I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I am currently back at UCO in the reading specialist master’s program. I am getting married in January and my new last name will be Mrs. Reed! I grew up in Edmond and still reside here with my french bulldog, Olive.

I have always loved children, so it came as no surprise that my passion was teaching. It is so rewarding to see the academic, social, and emotional gains throughout the year. I enjoy creating a warm and welcoming classroom environment and becoming close with the families at Angie Debo. I love serving the families in our community and being able to make a difference. I always want my students to feel like I am in their corner and their biggest cheerleader!

In my free time I enjoy exercising, cooking, office supplies, and spending time with my family! During the summer, I wait tables at Fish City Grill and have worked there since 2014.

It is an honor to be named Angie Debo’s 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year! Go Dolphins!
