I am so honored to be the new Principal at Angie Debo. This is my 6th year of being a Dolphin. The first 5 years were spent as the Assistant Principal. In those five years I learned from the best, created friendships with the staff, and best yet observed our students growing and thriving. Angie Debo has a huge piece of my heart and I consider it my home away from home.
This is my 11th year in Edmond Public Schools.I spent the first 4 years teaching 4th grade at Cross Timbers. Then I had the opportunity to be a part of opening Heritage Elementary and teach 4th grade. Prior to Edmond, I spent my first 7 years teaching in Moore at Central Elementary teaching 4th & 5th grades.
I have been an Oklahoman my entire life. I am from Fort Cobb, Oklahoma where Angie Debo has a higher population than the town itself. Then I went to Norman and graduated from the University of Oklahoma, Boomer Sooner!!! I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and a Masters in Educational Leadership. At OU I met my husband of 17 years Scott. When we graduated, we knew Edmond was the only place we wanted to raise our family. We have 3 amazing children. The oldest is in her first year of middle school, then our Littles are in 1st grade and PreK. You can usually find our family running around to dance, tball, football, basketball, and volleyball.
